On the payment rates for driving by the М-1/E30 motorway Brest - Brest - Minsk - Russian Federation border from 01.01.2012

According to the information, provided by the Press-Service of the “Belavtodor” Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus, the new payment rates for driving by the M1/E30 motorway Brest – Minsk - Russian Federation border are introduced from 01.01.2012 in accordance with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus’ Decree №70 dated 02.11.2011.

The Decree introduces the new category of the payers – the owners (users) of the motor vehicles of the Customs Union’ countries (instead of the Russian Federation). In addition the vehicles higher than 210 cm. would not be divided in categories depending on the axle’s number.

For the vehicles’ owners from the Republic of Belarus (the vehicle high no exceeding 210cm) the zero payment rate is maintained. The similar vehicles from the Customs Union will be exempted from the payment for driving from 01.01.2012.

The Decree stipulates specifically the vehicles of the Republic of Belarus which will have the preferential rate for driving. They are the regular buses, the vehicles transporting the milk, bread, agricultural products, and some others.

For some categories of the vehicles’ owners from the foreign states and the Customs Union’ countries the rates for the driving are increased.
