About the situation with the coronavirus COVID-19 in Belarus on March 12, 2020

By entering of the foreign and Belarusian citizens the territory of the Republic of Belarus the continuous primary sanitary and epidemiological control is carried out at the border crossing points.

At the same time, material is taken from persons who arrived from countries (currently - from China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Japan) that are epidemically unfavorable for coronavirus infection (the test result becomes known after 12 hours). In case of symptoms of a respiratory illness (fever over 37.1 ° C, coughing and others), people arriving from these countries are isolated and hospitalized.

If a person at the time of inspection while crossing the border has no complaints about health, temperature or other symptoms, he leaves the border crossing point with a flyer where the contact numbers and other useful information in case of illness are indicated.

All persons by entering the border crossing points fill out the «Arrivals form» (hyperlink). These data can be used in the future for the organization of medical supervision.

There are currently no restrictions on the movement of vehicles, goods and passengers across the border of the Republic of Belarus (in addition to the above-mentioned measures).

In addition to sanitary quarantine points on the State border of the Republic of Belarus, biomaterial collection points for examining patients for coronavirus infection are organized in infectious diseases hospitals (departments) and in separate polyclinics (based on the infectious disease cabinets).
