Extension of temporary load limits on the axles of vehicles in the Gomel region

Taking into account the forecasted weather conditions, the Republican Unitary Enterprise of Roads «Gomelavtodor» informed that temporary restrictions of the maximum permissible axle load will be extended from September 1^st to September 10^th 2019, in order to preserve roads and ensure road safety.

For self-propelled vehicles, the maximum permissible load on a single axle will be limited to 6 tons in all republican roads of the Gomel region from 11:00 to 20:00 whenever the air temperature will exceed 25° C, with the exception of the road M-5/E 271 Minsk-Gomel.

The decision has been taken in accordance with Article 34 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On roads and roads activities” and the paragraph 3.2 of the Instruction “On the procedure for changing the organization of road traffic”, in accordance with the Department of the State Automobile Inspection of the Internal Affairs Department of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.
